As we eagerly anticipate the festivities, Hub Planner has unwrapped a set of fresh releases this year, enriching the platform with enhanced capabilities.
No tinsel or jingle bells here, just the straightforward exploration of features designed to streamline your workflow and boost productivity. So, let’s cut to the chase and discover the notable additions and improvements that iProHR has in store for you.
New smart scheduling elements for resource management
Besides the look and feel of the scheduler, we also added some new functionality! Here is a brief synopsis of the new features and functions added to iProHR.
1) Capacity Planner
A new Capacity Planner – See who’s available? Use the new availability finder to locate resources based on the amount of hours, over the date range applied. iProHR will filter the results based on the availability required.
2) Utilization Filter
Filter Teams by Utilization – Quick measure team performance with the new utilization filter feature. Choose a rate and date range for iProHR to filter and return results of the team to show how well the team are doing. Anyone over scheduled this week? Have you any people that can be allocated more tasks?
3) Capacity Planning Templates
iProHR created a number of quick access pre-formatted templates to check for availability and utilization of the team.
4) Scheduler Builder
Build and customize your own schedule unique to your criteria applied – check out the Scheduler Builder.
5) Edit Requests
New Edit Request Options for Vacation and Resource Requesting workflow.
6) Smart Schedule
Create and save a single schedule view based on teams and filters. Perfect for the snapshot go to schedule. Save your smart schedules for a one stop shop access to all your customized schedule templates in the sidebar.
7) New Booking Menu
Manage bookings and adjust schedules with the new simple and modern booking menu.
8) Search & Filter Bar
Enhanced Scheduler Filter & Search Bar – save time and improve collaboration, scheduling efficiency and organization.
9) Prevent Overbooking
We have added a new warning system to help prevent resource over allocation when you double book a resource member. This innovative addition empowers you to proactively prevent resource overallocation through a new scheduling conflict warning pop up.
New smart features for project management
Besides the look and feel of the scheduler, we also added some new functionality! Here is a brief synopsis of the new features and functions added to iProHR.
1) Project expenses
Track Project Expenses – Track project expenses with the new ‘Fixed Costs‘ feature. Create multiple cost categories to track planned v actual project expenses.
2) Dependencies
Now link project bookings with the new Dependencies feature. Simplify the way you track dependencies on project tasks, which will also save you time and help you organize your project flow in real time.
3) Deadlines
Manage project timelines with precision using Deadlines – a smart feature for project managers to maintain a high level of organiztion, keeping the project, tasks and people on track.
4) PM Notifications
New notifications to keep project managers in the loop of schedule changes and requests.
5) Bulk Upload
Enhanced the bulk upload options to include repeat options. Upload repeat project bookings in a flash automatically updating the project and resource schedule.
6) Mandatory Custom Fields
Now you can make a custom field mandatory. When creating a new project, resource or booking you can set to include a mandatory custom field. This way you are making sure all relevant data is captured. Especially when it comes to filtering the scheduler or reports by custom fields.
7) MFA
Have you installed MFA or SSO? iProHR is committed to securing your data and you should be too. Install MFA to further secure your project data.
8) Timesheets 2 Step Approval
Streamline time tracking: Activate the two-step timesheet approval process
9) Group Builder
New Project Group Builder. Build smart or manual projects groups defined by filters and custom fields.

Capacity finder
Capacity finder is a game changer. When you’re searching for resources you need on a project, how do you decide who should be scheduled? Say you have 100 people to sift through. Enter the capacity finder – a powerful tool that simplifies the process. Just toggle on the capacity finder, select options like ‘full availability’ and voila, your schedule instantly filters to only show resources with full availability. Go that one step further? TIP? – You combine the Capacity Finder with Custom Fields, Smart Schedules and Smart Groups and the powerful scheduling experience you have is unquestionably unrivalled.
Utilization – Show how well resources are being utilized showing scheduled time against their capacity.
Availability – Show resources with availability left from scheduled time against capacity.
iProHR's new smart scheduler
We did a huge revamp of the scheduler, allowing for better organization of the schedule and efficient team management. Essentially, we want to empower users to excel in their roles. Additionally, we strive to ensure that the schedule is dynamic and captivating for the user.
The design has been revamped to enhance clarity and cleanliness, making navigation more user-friendly. In a software used daily, visual appeal is crucial. Behind the scenes, a technologically advanced stack powers the scheduler, resulting in a more robust and efficient scheduling experience. Users will notice a smoother and faster scheduling capability.
New group and schedule builder
Quickly generate resource teams, project groups and schedules. Use smart groups to dynamically and automatically generate and update groups.
New modern menu
Clear and icon driven, the scheduling booking menu will quickly allow you to allocate resources to projects, apply resource allocation time, assign a booking category.
Dependencies
A highly requested feature from our customers was to link project bookings. Now, illustrate the interconnections among project tasks. The scheduler will help you by displaying the bookings that must be completed before next ones can start. Deadlines
iProHR's Deadlines extension. Perfect for PM’s to maintain a high level of organization and keep on top of project timelines. Track and report on project deadlines in real time allowing PM’s to make data driven decisions. Existing customers
For existing customers, all of iProHR's latest features are open to you all. The new builder and the new scheduling booking menu will appear free of charge. Again. Feel free to trial out the new extensions for 7 days. Navigate to Settings -> Add/remove extensions and scroll to install. To activate the new menu, simply click the gear icon to open scheduler customization. From here, scroll till you locate the menu options. Choose from Classic and Smart.
